I do them, but, yeah, I don't see a lot of other people doing them. There is one dip setup without weights, and there are two dip machines with counter-weight assistance, so the fatties can do them.

If there is a machine with a free-style weight and pulley, you may be able to hook around your wrist (using your other hand to assist) and do curls, tricep extensions, and/or flies.

I did squats and got in all sorts of pain. I suggest switching to leg presses. It will isolate your legs, and your back will have nothing to do with it.

I don't figure that your grip is going to do much for your punch. It may, but I doubt it. If you want a good punch, then use a punching bag with hand wraps or gloves (you can get those at Big 5). ...
