Just looked up a picture of the axe. I guess personally if I had to choose between the two I'd take the Denver tool. More versatile than a flat head axe.

I personally have a 32" Pick head axe from Fireaxe Inc. with a D'Alessio custom drop out leather scabbard with trucker style belt. Love it

Nope, every fireman under 10 years is getting sent to medic school at our department. 4 classes going through PTI next year.

Have my paramedic interview next month....Not looking forward to it at all

Had my first fully involved structure fire. First on scene...pulled our 350' 1 3/4 hotline advanced into the structure and did work. Got knock down and everything. Pretty awesome time!

I'd fail that test miserably right now.

I just let my NREMT expire 2 months ago...hopefully I don't regret that.

The biddle is still competitive. You're gonna need at least 6:45 or lower to secure a spot for an interview. Try and do it at SAC if you can. I think it's easier there. And yes I did get a way better...
