Since you're a beginner just get on BLSS or another strength programme and eat in a surplus and you will make gains. Supplements aren't needed
I don't see the point in having a full day designated to abs. Also why no squats on leg day ?

Do you count your calories? In regards to your second question it is possible just look at Micah Richards. Nedum onuhua and nani just to name a few who are moderately sized.
Just eat at a 500 cal deficit and you will lose weight.
A rack and a weight set would be better.

SS neglects quite a few muscles however it is a strength routine not a bodybuilding routine.
IMO you should get on a P/P/L such as Coolcicada's which looks very good and just eat at a surplus.
Babylovers modified SS doesn't include PC so do that if you don't want to do them.
