I looked also up forearm splints . And arm shin splints.
Funny I thought I was the only one with this problem & almost did not post this thinking I would be laughted...

I get this shooting pain in my forearms when i'm doing preacher curls.
It is so bad now it is messing up my other workouts.
Any suggestions on better form to avoid this?

depends on what you are looking for. if the location is key There is also a Golds Gym not to far & LA Fitness

Golds Gym in Venice beach CA is the West Coast & Bevs on the East Coast is considered the Premiere Bodybuilding gyms.
Many Pros work out at both, they have specialized equipt.
But In my opinion ...
