Yeah I was thinking about the Falls Creek / Hotham area as well. Still a few years away so will have to keep an eye on how both areas are developing.

In late May in the PNW you may be hit with non stop rain, Utah won't be too hot yet and should have less crowds then peak summer.

How busy was Jindy during April? Looking at places to live when I eventually move back to Aus and it's one of the few that has enough outdoor activities to keep me occupied.

I use an Olympus O-MD E-M5, its a mirrorless, gets great snaps, is water and dust resistant and a lot more compact then a DSLR. I'm thinking of upgrading to the new E-M1 for that 4k video footage but...

That's definitely on the list, have had a few friends do it and speak highly of it.
