Depends on your goals. If training for strength doing only 2 reps ramp-ups are must.
If your main goal is hypertrophy, i would highly suggest more than 2 sets. 3-5 would work definitely better....
What the f is your problem?
I was always using body-weight movements and i look a ton more better than those who lifted weights for years.
Lately, however, i use weights to increase my strength.
If it's 2 heavy sets, it's enough.
Remember to always ramp-up the weight till that.
If you do 2 sets of squats using 100kg, ramp-up something like
50kg, 60kg, 80kg, 90kg a few reps and then go do...
