    Recovery depends on a lot of factors....if you want to "bulk" lift heavy on each body part once a week is a good place to start. If you do not leave it all in the gym recovery is a moot point....

    I try not to take stuff that has too many...

    I try not to take stuff that has too many warnings...I use Optimum pre-load..during workouts for energy+ Creatine...then load up with BCAA and Whey shakes...works for me..
