Self wrapping iznt that hard for me. The Rolling of the wraps by hand is more work honestly.
When I first started it does take a bit out of you. The biggest part that takes a lot of energy is actually rolling up your wraps as tight as possible by hand.

There's an adjustment period but you get use to it the more you use them.
That's just not my style of squatting personally. The wraps got me to a 440 squat so far :D
Sometimes I do but yesterday just squatting in my rack.

I always do a dynamic warm up before I bench/Squat/Deadlift.
With bench & squat I just start with the bar and work up in weight to my working sets. Deadlifts i'll start with a plate and work up...
