Think I'll do this actually. Cheers.
How do you incorporate progressive overload?
Rate it higher then just doing a p/p/l x2 per week? With one set of p/p/l working on hypertrophy and the other on strength?
Read the OP
Haha why not? 250lbs = 115kg
Haha, I agree though. Need to get my stats up!
Can you link me to the 5/3/1 simple strength template?
I have been doing SL DL's lately (work the hams more) and pulling about 220-250lbs.
Squats range around 240-280lbs.
prefer 5/3/1 over p/p/l? If so whys that?
Sweet. I like the sound of that. Do you happen to have any useful links to p/p/l routines? Thanks dude
So your saying to focus on pushing more weight in the first session (aiming at increasing strength) and then shooting for more reps/lighter weight in the second session to focus on hypertrophy?
Oh okay, what is a p/p/l split? I would definitely rather hit muscle groups 2x per week, but I don't have a whole heap of time to spend at the gym. (<1.5hours)
I've been training since the middle of 2011 (about 2 years and 6months-ish) and have put on a decent amount of size and strength on.
I started off at around 140lb (skinny-fat at 18y/o)...
