I don't take anything pre workout. But post workout I have a protein shake with 8 oz. skim milk, 8 oz. orange juice, and 2 scoops of ON vanilla whey. I sip xtend from scivation intra workout.
I just take extra bcaa's before a race. I will agree with taking something that you never have taken before. Not a good idea. I've had a close call or two while running. Not cool...
