Thanks guys, and yeah i did notice that second one, wasn't expecting it for sure. The main problem was the light polution in my suburb, not to bad as it is right next to the ocean but still enough...

So i just finished shooting a few and i couldn't believe how enjoyable it was! I think how completely different each photo can be and you never know what you will get each time.

Did you buy the lens hood specifically for your lens, because i know the actual canon lens hoods can be really expensive for what little material...

Just wondering how many of you actually use lens hoods?
Do you find always use it or have you bought one and thought it was better without?
Looking at buying one, just wondering if it is worth it.
