For the sake of argument I can excuse the first two cops who deliver a few blows (they're struggling with him on the ground, it's a potentially dangerous situation) and I can even excuse...

It's not uncommon to make victim noises when two guys are on your back kneeing you in the head and ribs either.

I'm sure one of the 10 or so cops had the training to put his hands behind his back without hitting him in the face, ribs or balls.

If a suspect was identified as black I'd expect police to focus their attention on black suspects.

But I bet when/if they found the thief he wasn't wearing jeans or chinos.
