I take a deep breath when lowering the bar then breathe out while pushing. I don't think it really matters though, as long as you remember to keep breathing :D
It'll just be because your not used to the movement after benching DBs. If you switched back to BB bench for a few weeks it would probably shoot up.

It depends, out of my friends I'm the smallest (muscle wise) and am the only one who is a member of BB.com. Maybe the majority of body building brits don't post on this American forum?
Dextrose? Provides energy, but doesn't aid recovery or muscle building.
