If your knee..or anything hurts pretty bad do NOT go a pr on a big movement like a deadlift man. Take it easy for a bit and make sure your knee is good to go.
Do you literally drag the bar up your shins? I've tried both ways, you keep it juust outside of yourshins, occasionally knicking it. or, you just pull back and up the shins it goes.
