Theoretically true, but eating high fiber and whole nutrient-dense foods will help with satiety as well as providing a healthy variety of micronutrients.
Not too sure you want to be switching it up. Martin over at leangains explicitly states that you should keep your feeding window the same due to hormonal factors.
What Martin would recommend is doing Starting Strength until you are at least at intermediate strength levels. After which, he gives his clients the following three day per week low volume routine:

Why don't you try it? Just start tracking your lifts, plan for progress, and run a strength oriented program. I know when I started, adding 15lb a week to my squat was invigorating.
