    Squat felt a little easier than I expected, and bench didn't feel as easy as I expected. I think it was just a good day for squats, and bad day for bench.

    OP's bench max is 205. Unless he's like under 5'2" and around 130 pounds, he doesn't need to be doing smolov just yet. The Texas Intermediate Method or the Cube Method should work nicely.
