Well, if the price crashes then soon after output will also decrease, and when that happens the price will rise again. It's not like oil all of a sudden became obsolete.

Yes. It's just an efficient way of answering competency questions. You'll typically be asked to describe a time when you were a leader, worked as part of a team, etc. It's nothing complicated.

Mechanical is probably the most relevant degree for subsea. It's a good area to go into: a strong future ahead of it and plenty of technical challenges. Enjoy it, learn as much as you can and show...

Depends. Many structured programmes allow moves to different areas of the business, e.g. moving from a mechanical role to drilling, which is useful for gaining knowledge of how the industry operates...
