I'm thinking of doing bi/tri on the same day, as im currently doing back/bi on one day, and by the time im done with my back/ my hands are too sore to get a proper Bi workout.

Im on the same boat as you, just be honest with your friend, maybe reccomend a personal trainer for a couple sessions to get him sorted on a program. If hes ur best mate he should take your advice
