Hurt my back today doing deads

Last time I hurt my back I was out of the gym for a week, hopefully I heal faster this time.

The jumping forward was actually a lot worse than it is now.

Actually this lift wasn't my best, form wise. I was very very close to losing it behind me.

I've been doing a fair bit of running and hiking now that summer is in full swing, so my leg strength is down from where it was over the winter.

I used to nail by pubic bone every now and then, couldn't snatch after I hit it.

Power jerk is easier to learn IMO as it's a slightly simpler movement.

I think you can have a lot of success with either one if you work at it.

I added 35kg to my clean in a year.

I'd say I could have added more if I stopped snatching and just focused on cleaning.
