Most of my Ivankos are used, + or - same condition, no repainting yet.
One thing I notice is that the milled center hole is smooth as glass on the used plates after being on & off bars...

Perhaps I have 'generic' hip / leg width ... I've not had any problems with the center knurl when deadlifting.

Yes, the weld job is very high-quality.
Yes, it does protrude, and as you can see by the 2nd photo the square inner edge of the Ivanko plate will make contact with the weld and not the collar.
