Was wondering if I could get some opinions here - have been lifting for 5-6 years now. Took the occasional week off here and have gone through extended periods of pretty intense lifting (college)....
I hurt my wrist (hyperextended i think) a few months back doing hang cleans - lost form on a rep and didnt catch the bar properly on my shoulder. finished the workout - just felt like i tweaked...
im definitely going to take time off...finals week is coming and ive been lifting for 7 weeks straight without a break, planned on doing it next week but ill have to start early...
i was always under the impression that unless they are absolutely neccessary, they should be avoided...ive been up to 275 (and im not a big guy) without a belt with no problems...minute i strap one...
