    This is how I do it

    Set 1
    8 Reps @65% of max

    Set 2
    6 Reps @85% of max

    Set 3
    4 Reps to failure

    I agree with the genetics part but another thing is sometimes if you have a medium-high BF% a section of fat between your Bicep and shoulder can hide your peak.

    1 or two should'nt really affect you.The only thing I would say is that most alcohol is empty carbs so if you do have one or two make sure you factor that into your diet plan.

    High weight at low reps builds Muscle and stregth. High reps at low weight just maintain muscle and build Stamina.Your diet is what deals with definition = low bady fat %.

    Its all right if it is SORE and STIFF. If it is actual PAIN it is a problem. I just got done with my lifting today and my biceps are soooo stiff its hard to lift my protien shake.
