i keep my elbows at a 45 degree angle (chicken press). relieves all the pain in my shoulders. i did have to lower the weight though
try some free weights..
It'll come down to chest mass and low bf%
genetics do play a role though.

You have a lot of range of motion. I'm the same way, just keep working at it.
funny thing about lifting: your muscles get fatigued, making it progressively more difficult to move the same amount of weight..
What's your bench max?
