Canadians have it literally twice as bad as Americans (srs). I have around a 3.9, got just flat out rejections from Canadian schools so far, but multiple interviews to top 20 US schools.
Yeah I think you are over-analyzing it, there's so many other aspects of your application this isn't going to make the difference between interview/rejection.
