I can and do run 400+ lbs on My lat machine, if you want a machine that doesn't have binding and flex issues look into getting either a machine with steel or aluminum pulleys, or get a pulley...

the adjustable cable station would have to be built on the back side of the machine, not much room on the front side of the machine, would interfere with the lat pull down area... it would be a big...

looks like a good excercise for the obliques, I was thinking about fabricating an adjustable hight pulley for the lat machine for awhile now, initially for a certain tricep excercise...I'll post some...

no easy way, maybe just cut some thick tube to slide over the saftey supports to fit between the actual upright supports... that way no assortment of tools

good thing is, I bought the set of pulleys for one of their machines (g3 or something ) and ended up with about 14 extra pulleys, so when they wear out, they're around 3 years old now, I've got...

lighten up on the curl weight and start working out the muscles in your hands/fingers also.....

I bought a set for My lat machine, they were installed on a non- bodysolid machine, the original pulleys had
warped and the bearings were going out. so I bought aluminum pulleys from body solid....

replacing plastic / nylon / fiberglass pulleys that are warped and or worn with aluminum or steel pulleys will
get rid of alot of friction problems... I replaced the pulleys on My lat machine with...
