You grow when you are not lifting. Do 18 sets of hard chest work and you will know why you need a week
when I was strict about hitting the 3X a week stuff, that's all I did. Was good enough to break a state squat record. When I was done competing and laxed up a little I added the fun accessory stuffs.
The only program that ever got my squat #'s up, I love it.

I feel like being active is the best thing for soreness, if I run the day after legs it takes most of the DOMS away. Especially if I stretch after running. Drink pickle juice for those cramps OG.
