I know right, thats way too low of a maintenance. i'd suggest probably around 2500 calories to start and if you still aren't gaining you can bump it up
Sounds like a long ass time, a rep only takes like 3-4 seconds if youre only doing 8-10, that should only be 32-40 seconds I'd think. But whatever works I guess
