If it is a scaled test then easier questions are counted less than the harder questions. A harder question will be worth 1.2 points and easier .8. So, whater the passing percentage is, you could need...
It is no joke that knowing and applying the vocabulary, exercises, acute variables, and the entire testing chapter (and corrections table) is needed. Follow the test guide in the handbook on pages...
Congrats Scott!
Chessman: what time is your test? Can't wait to hear when you pass! You will do great.
I hope you can beat the snow and get home
Just a heads up that ptonthenet looks to be a good place to get CEU's. Anyone know about it?
I only had 1 isolated function question as well. Isolated function is still good to know for practical application.
I am looking for credentials accepted by NASM for CEU's and the link on the site does not work. Does anyone have a link for me or know if they accept ISSA?
I got the FA/CPR/AED because it was offered at the community center for cheap.
Here is a link for the NASM site, everything you need to know is there: www...
Congrats! I agree with the teaching part. The more I explained concepts to my husband the more I remembered.

Chessguy, I love...
I passed
I can not thank everyone enough for the support and tips. This is a tough test because of how questions are worded and the NASM U app really helped me with that. There is nothing I can...
I am not sure if the set up of the test has been discussed so I am going to throw it out there (you can find it in the handbook).
"Candidates must receive a scaled score of at least 70 to pass ...
You have about 6 months to prepare for the test
Congrats to both of you!!!
I only do test mode because I find I am more lazy and less thoughtful when using study mode. However, I do go back and review what I got wrong in study mode and in the book. Got a 91% today on NASM...
I think we will just have to get a good understanding of the chart and see where the patterns are. It is helping me to do the compensations and feel the muscles used.
Good luck to both of you!
The text may be different from the app now. It never hurts to use it as a supplement. My husband told me to stop doing it bc the scores seem to be effecting my confidence.
