diet is a big part of cutting... ...that and cardio (for me at least)
My advice would be to get a solid routine, there are a lot listed around here, and keep your diet in check. Once you get your routine down...then you can see if you need to bulk or cut depending...

If you are gaining to much fat, you might try cleaning up your bulk and throwing in a little more cardio to your workouts. How does your diet look?

Eat, eat like crazy, but eat healthy Might try a weight gainer like CL Golden Gains, it worked for a friend of mine that always had trouble gaining weight.

White Flood and SuperPump are excellent... ...I am using SuperPump right now, but when I am ordering its always a toss-up for me.
I drink diet carbonated unsweetened and then add a few drops of liquid splenda. Its not a diet coke, but it keeps me going.
