I didn't do any stretches. And I never ran. Although, it probably would have helped me. I started lifting 10 lb dumbbells at week 4 just going through the motions of workouts. Patience is key.

Weight Gainer worked great for me. It got me from 175 to 225 in a couple of years. I recommend it.

I never had any bulge. However, the left side pubic area near the base of the penis was swolen at times... still is 3 years later. only does that when I have exerted it a lot.

It'll get better in time. Just focus on getting surgery and recovered for now. I've gotten way stronger since my hernia surgery. Trust me, you'll be fine. This is only a little bump in the road.

Yes... Walking stimulates blood flow to the area. Jogging and running after being cleared is great for blood flow as well. Makes for a speedy recovery.

I'm glad everything went well. Have you been able to sleep straight in bed or are you curling up in the fetal position? If you are already fine sleeping in bed with no issues, I'll be jealous.
