This is some quality work!!! And you're just 5lbs from a "wheel" on each side ;-)
There used to be a corny television show on in the U.S. in the 70's & 80's that would sing a song entitled "If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." Hang in there.
Good to see both...
Also guilty for lurking, so how about this: if you're trying to bring up the wheelz, is it better for one to purposefully embark on a maintenance program for other large muscles (meaning pick a...
Let me suggest a book by an ex body builder: Permanent Pain Relief by Ming Chew. While I've had a few episodes of severe back pain, I had been using KT Tape (aka Rock Tape, Kinesiology Tape, etc) for...
Here's one taken this morning just a couple of weeks before my 48th birthday . . . note the grey beard ;-)
STARTS the workout with a widowmaker and then continues to kick butt! Great job Dave.
My family loves the taste and cooking speed of these forced convection type "ovens." We bought 2 of the NuWaves and they have a very limited life due to that plastic dome ring that I promise will...
Thanks. That means a lot. As sad as this sounds, I had started to question if I can make any meaningful gains anymore. I've been lifting for 30 years, so if "lifting" only means maintaining . . ....
Nah, just lurking :D That 135x5 OHP is the real deal. Great job.
Thanks, I'll checked out Dave's site. I might try that and compare to the 3-point caliper checks I do about every month.
How are you calculating this? Calipers?
LOL. My Cookies N Cream casein arrived today, and I suppose that I can now say that I have made my FIRST legitimate "fluff!" :D
Now, I still like my old recipe (which used 100g of frozen banana),...
Just bought 2 lbs of ON Cookies N Crčam!
I'm going back to the drawing board ;-)
How many calories in that? I may have to re-evaluate what I consider "fluff," because my normal recipe (50g of protein powder and ~300 calories) makes about 1/3 of that!
Larry, do you have the barbell supported near the bench until you get into position? Can you go to failure with your set-up without having to drop the weights on the floor? Inquiring minds ;-)
Are you doing these for reps or as static holds?
Wow! Looks great. Where do you buy this?
Bill, have you verified the weights of each plate? I brought a scale home from work one weekend and was shocked to see the disparity in some plate!!! I have one 5# plate that weighs 4.6#, and...
I might give these a try tonight. I will say that the paused (albeit hip belt) squat has become a staple in my routine.
Regarding your daughter and her exams, it's an opportunity for her to see...
Probably not too many jacked guys like you back then. How much do you think you weighed in that pic?
