This is every pre-workout I've taken in the last 16 months. Starting March 2013 till July 2014. This is the chronological order...
Left to your own natural physical processes, most people will look and feel like ass at a fairly young age.
Exercise makes you look and feel better. I prefer that over being a rotund flab monster.
I don't know, sometimes I feel the age check is the mail. Knees, shoulders, elbows. Military stomped me pretty good, and crashing motorbikes a few times didn't help.
I'll let you know in 5.5...
Water, pre-workout and piece of fruit is all I eat during morning workouts.
I prefer night time workouts. 8PM is a good time for me
Smith machine always hurts something. Some joint somewhere just doesn't like being locked into a certain movement and angle. Your mileage may vary, but I never use em anymore
I don't use a scale. I use a mirror. If I look like ass, I make changes.
I use the scale only as a guide to see if my weight is trending up or down. For now I want my weight to be going up.
Not yet, but I'm 39, which is still young. Ask me again when I am 45+.
My shoulders are a little ate up.
I can do overhead dumbbell presses but ONLY with a neutral grip.
I can do incline dumbbell benching with a neutral grip.
I cannot barbell press at all, and...
Rest your shoulder for a week, and then hit the weight at 50%. If it sucks, rest more, if you feel good, drive on.
The main reason I am deloading is rotator cuff pain. Week long rest period with...
After 18 weeks of regular lifting, I'm starting to feel a little torn down, and physically worn.
So I'm taking my first deload week.
It's going to be an active deload, with the same gym visit...
Military service ate up my back and knees pretty good. I still squat but get serious back pains from deads. Even squats are getting tougher as I get closer to 40.
Everyone's body is different....
I do barbell rows with medium weight and perfect form with higher reps. Tried heavy a few times and got lots of snap action, where the effort and risk nullified rewards.
There are so many...
For full body I mix and matched the following; choose one or two from each section for every workout 3 times a week.
Chest:
Dumbbell Press
Bench Press
Incline Bench Press
Push ups
...
I personally don't see the appeal of heavy objects hovering over my vital organs and not having as much control as possible over the situation.
I never go thumbless.
Lifting is a fun hobby....
Making progress slowly. Though I thoroughly enjoy seeing the deltoid ripple with separation when doing various movements. That started about 3 weeks ago and I was giddy.
I eat light before the gym. Some cottage cheese or protein bar, oatmeal, yogurt.
And then I drink down some creatine.
I eat light because if I eat heavy my workout sucks and it feels like I...
I like Craze...a lot. I might have to get a new tub before they intro a new formula and it gets Jack3d Micro'ed.
Heaphones in.
Music loud.
Hoodie up.
Pissed off expression.
Since joining the gym back in Feb. no one has said a single word to me. AWESOME!
I choose my movements wisely. Some aren't worth the effort at the expense of aggravated back pain.
After 3 bike wrecks and the military my back is a mess, and I'm not going to put myself in...
I hate those stupid balls. Someone is always in the way, taking up space, and doing something stupid and annoying with those things
