I personally jump right into a cut. I usually go from 300 surplus to 300 deficit right away. And I add cardio as needed.
When I need more fats/calories for the day... i eat more whole eggs. When I need less or am hungry and want a lot of volume of food with low calories... I eat more egg whites.

my carb intake is spread out. I usually eat about 65g in the morning, another 30 or so during the day. I eat about 30 more grams before a workout, then eat the rest when I get home afterwards.

OP, even if you are a little off on your macros... if you're consistently incorrectly in the same way.. you'll be okay
