Personally I'd just get the Rogue. Better quality than the CAP and it's not made in China. Even if you wanted to turn around and sell it in 5 years it'll be still worth 2x as much as a new CAP.

I have the Rogue/HiTemps. the 10/25/35/45 and the 65lbs. The plates are for sure thicker than a regular plate. I didn't have any smell from them at all.. The 10lbs, 25lbs are kind of useless since...

Personally.. IMHO... the weights/plates themselves don't really matter... a plate won't fall apart, I'd be more worried about the bar, bars can bend/break.. :P
