I think he is in a bad spot there, considering he was repped or negged by like 4-5 at least. They're all going to be on spread for him for awhile. :)
Either way, it's the most interesting thing Frep's done since he's been in the Rant.
On another topic, it would be nice to have the ability to edit some of my old posts without getting a Mod to do it.
in other news, J. J. Abrams will be directing the new Star Wars movie.
Should be interesting to see how different/similar he makes it to the Star Trek reboot.
I still want to know what was planned/in the works first: Mass Effect 2 or the Star Trek reboot.
I'm talking about the end level of Mass Effect and when they go through the other dimension/galaxy in Star Trek. Nearly identical set ups. Fiery/Orange back ground, ship grave yard, large enemy ship that is some amalgamation of other ships, etc. They were so damn similar it wasn't even funny.
Yes, I know Star Trek released in 2009 and ME2 2010.

Not a bad idea. I've got a long way to go though.

It's more that I'd like to get in there and clean up some formatting here and there, occasionally fix videos, etc. It's not that big of a deal, but it would be easier to do in little pieces by myself when time permits than go through everything all at once.
I need honorary Mod editing abilities. :D

That would likely involve changing the Vbulletin options or something; not sure bb.com could do it. I was / am a member of the bodybuilding.com Customer Advisory Board, and had meant to bring up a few suggestions for forum modifications, but they stopped having regular meetings so I never got around to it.

Pogue, et al, could prolly crank that out in minutes.

THQ filed for bankruptcy, sold all their divisions.
The only one to not get picked up was Vigil, the folks behind the Darksiders series.
Possibly the only series I actually gave sh!ts about.

LoL how is that the one to not get bought??
Or is THQ going to try to retain it and move forward with Vigil now that they've managed to recoup some funds?

WTF the Darksiders games are awesome! I am still working on DS2.
Let's you me and chazzy pool our funds and bid!
If they had a Kickstarter for the next Darksiders game(s), I would throw so much money at them.
Except they'd need a company to pay overhead and all that other junk. :(

I went to a dinner gathering at a couple of friends' house. (Why does that sentence look weird?)
The husband is a gun nut. Has quite the arsenal. Some sort of SIG rifle, a tactical shotgun, some old WW2 russian rifle, a couple pistols, revolver... and that's just the stuff I've seen.
One other guy came over. He hadn't met the husband yet. Turns out this guy is super anti-gun.
Tons of debating. Other guy was pretty douchey. Husband gave him one of his target sheets as a present before other guy left. Pumped full of holes on the target's face, hand/weapon, and crotch areas. (Looked like this, but not on a tshirt: http://image10.spreadshirt.com/image-server/v1/products/20072182/views/1,width=378,height=378,appearanceId=5/Shooting-Target-HD-Design-T-Shirts.png)
Other guy left at the end of the night without taking his gift.
Lols were had.
Yeah, I saw. Abrams is OK, I've liked some of his latest stuff TBH.
But he's just directing. I feel like the writer is a huge factor too. Michael Arndt, who wrote Toy Story 3, the new Hunger Games and Little Miss Sunshine.
... which has me kinda nervous. Hope he doesn't butcher the science fiction aspect of Star Wars.
If he screws it up as much as he did Star Trek, I'm definitely not interested.
To clarify: The ST reboot was a decent space adventure movie. It in no way resembled the universe that Gene Roddenberry envisioned, therefore it is NOT Star Trek.
