PUSH through the obstruction - srublind's log to BIGGER and better things!
Well, HELLO 2012! 2011 was certainly my best yet. I got into the best shape of my life and truly transformed inside and out. I committed to the personal training profession, moved to a new city (DC) and continue to help inspire others through my job and 'walkin' the walk'. After my successful cut in the spring, I ventured where I hadn't before; bulking. I found this extremely mentally challenging and while I added some serious muscle, I also put back on a good amount of fatz. But, not to worry. It's cut season and the bulk stops here! I've entered the transformation challenge again this year for some extra incentive, and also plan to get onto stage for my first show in the early summer/summer.
This is my journey to MY next level.
Challenges the last 6-7 months:
- lose the diet mentality, try to put on muscle and live a bit more balanced
- new city posed numerous challenges, mainly getting back into a routine I felt good about
- balancing new friends, new schedule and different surroundings
- balance, balance, balance: I really did so well with my initial transformation but it set me up to be semi obsessive about certain aspects of nutrition. the bulk put me into a zone where I could be a bit more lax, but also opened the door for other challenges
So, end of story... I will work to maintain balance in my personal, professional and fitness/bodybuilding life. I will work my a$$ off as I do, be diligent but not obsessed about nutrition and build the best me yet!
So, here we renew the body, mind and spirit to kick life's a$$.
You can expect to find:
- My daily nutrition w/pics. Love me some food pronz
- Daily training routine. Trying a few different things along with a training style I've been working on.
- Calorie burn. Right now I'm using my BodyMedia. Depending on how anal I find myself getting, I will report daily caloric burn.
- Insight and fun. I'm a fun kid and love life - will spread!
Thanks for stopping in!
