Haven't posted in this thread (or bb.com actually) in quite a while. New province and new job kept me crazy busy. Anyway, lol as much a you want but I am now leaving Crossfit after being disapointed quite a bit and gonna back to normal weight training starting next week.
See ya!

Yes, moved from Montreal to Moncton, which is actually a pretty nice city.

Yeah I was told that for YMCA... How's Goodlife? I heard that it's not really Deadlift/Cleans friendly. Gonna let you know about trying but I'm by the Costco so Goodlife Dieppe not really the closest for me.

How would you think it is not deadlift/clean friendly? Goodlife is not chalk friendly and does not allow you to use chalk....but you can do cleans in the weight room of any I have gone into.

They frown upon using chalk, but people still use it.
You can just get on the trans canada by costco and be at the gym in dieppe within 10 minutes. I live off elmwood drive and it takes me like 6-8 minutes to get there depending on traffic. The closest for you would deff be Global.

I go to a YMCA and it's ALLLLLLLLLLWAYS busy!
It's funny if I get there basically around 5-6pm I just drive right by the parking lot and park on the road up the hill but people still seem to all turn in the parking lot and there will be 10 cars lined up waiting for spots. Like haven't you learned yet?
all good i hope :) thank you
All good.
Nothing but fond memories.
Are you a girl?

I don't know, heard that from people at work. First time I heard about Goodlife is when I moved to Moncton, so I don't really know what it's like.

Goodlife is like going to nautilus/energie cardio in Montreal. The one in dieppe is a better option than the y, but global is more pl friendly

I got a referral for physio but haven't gone yet, thinking I might have to go?
I would definitely take advantage of that, If you have a benefits package through work you can burn up the rest of this years benefits this month. I'm getting deep tissue massage every week :D

Deep tissue massage is not a day in the spa eating bonbons and sipping on champagne, but it feels good

^^
true d'at
My workouts for today and yesterday have kinda sucked. My forearms are really, really weak and made it hard to do a solid back workout. I think the forearms are probably still stiff from rack pulls the other day

I use a hockey ball for self therapy. Rolls really well between the scapula, erector spinae, chest, delts, the glutes and the feet. My lower/upper trap, delts are sore this week from exercise and rolling out some of the tightness. My front delts are a knotted mess :(. Someone also showed me how to stretch out the abs so that I can get my poses looking more elongated.

Foam rolling is good too for general recovery, especialy for the quads, hams and glutes. I find ball especially usefull for pain/soreness coming from a specific spot on a muscle.
