8pm is fine.
bbacn can you comment on what you are thinking about moves per week, thanks.

I was thinking none, unless people start abusing it. We all know what abusing it means, and I'm not sure if I can even actually restrict people anyway (correct me if Yahoo does have that feature)
If Yahoo has that feature we can talk about setting a limit if you'd like. If it doesn't, we're basically going on the honor system anyway so what's the difference.

It does let you limit moves per week, I was in a league last year and we had 5 move per week rule, which was plenty. Most weeks, I didn't even use all my moves.
We need to come up with a solid plan because it will definitely effect the way people draft. No moves usually means hitters are much, much more valueable for the people who would stream starters to try to win K's,W's and then just draft 2 or 3 top closers.
The honor system is good I suppose, but someone is going to end up abusing and then inb4 ****storm.

true. Well I've never been in one that does it so as far as I know I'll just take your word that 5 is enough. I don't think anyone did 5 a week in the A league last year anyway.

in my league last year, if someone really needed a move, we allowed trading a move between teams.
So if I had 1 move I wasn't going to need and you wanted it, I could give it to you and then you would have 4 the next week, while I had 6.
The commish can go in and change them manually to do this.

Sure.

this
8 PM is fine but i think limiting moves is retarded if we are going with holds....
if you do things like that you end up having more ties as people can't try to get Wins and Holds out of the P slots.
The later the better, even 8:30 or 9:00 would help alot.

I don't follow.
If you can't win Ws and Holds with the people your draft and are on your roster, why should you be able to stream sh!tty starters and sh!tty middle relievers to make up for your weak drafting skills.
Streaming to win = BULLSH!T
And what exactly is wrong with ties? They are going to happen all year long in steals, homeruns, rbi, runs,saves,strikeouts... Ties are a part of Head to Head fantasy baseball.
Streaming is indeed gay. 5 moves per week should be plenty, plus I like the idea of being able to trade moves between teams.
I don't like the limiting moves idea. I'd rather be able to pick up anyone I want whenever I want.

aka you want to stream

Way to put words in my mouth. I don't stream. God forbid if I want to add a free agent.

You have 5 moves per week, not 0.
We need to have atleast one of the following in place.
Limit moves per week or set a Max number of innings per week for pitching.
Limiting moves is easier in my opinion, but I say we just let the commish bbacn decide what he thinks is best, we don't need another 5 pages debating this like the keepers idea.

Im not setting a Max number of innings per week. That kind of backfires if you've hit your limit because of your starters and your closers dont get opportunities to get saves until the end of the week or something. I really dont like setting a max at all. If your pitchers are good enough to go deep in games it shouldn't be a negative on you.
A limit of 5 is fine. How many of you really think you're gonna be dropping/adding more than that in a week anyway?
I went and looked back at the moves made last year in the League and I and Chill Will by far had the most moves (mainly because every f*cking player got injured on my roster last year). And I was still under the limit on average (I had 92 moves, Chill Will had 93.....21 weeks....limit of 5 would allow 105 moves a year). The next closest to either of us was in the 30's.
And believe me when I tell you....everyone really did get injured on my team.....and I still didn't go over the season limit. So even under the worst case scenario year, 5 per team per week is more than enough.

EDIT:
Thought you meant moves as in if i have 7 SP's and rotate all 7 in so they can start on my roster.....not FA pickups, i'm fine with that
