1. i guess i wasn't too clear on my sarcasm
2. why would you post a question to an answer you already know
Some other supplements that will help lower blood pressure:
CoQ10
Garlic
Omega 3
Quercetin
Hawthorn Berry
Plus diet might want to watch your salt intake. This is just my 2 cent's

are you done ?
Theoretically, yes a NO2 supp would lower your BP. But how much vasodilation do OTC products actually cause? Very little.
But at 140/85 I wouldn't worry too much. Your BP isn't textbook perfect but that really isn't high either. Doctors tend to like to help the drug companies make some money, don't let him trick you into getting meds for it either. At your age I'm sure you really don't need it.
Best advice, maybe jog or ride a bike a little more. Drink more water.
thanks for the help

Thats good advice too. Cut back on the salt, take a walk or something, and drink a little more water and you will probably shave 4-8 mmHg off your BP.

Doctor probably just wanted to cram some Atenolol down his throat.
My top number is always alittle high 128/134 my bottom number is about 72/76... So I just watch and monitor it every now and then...
I'm also the type of guy that get's all worked up if the batteries die in my remote!!!
Vasodilators such as NO supps lower bp (open up blood vessels), while vosconstricors such as caffeine will raise your bp (shrink blood vessels).
The bad thing is that both constrictors and dilators raise your heart rate.
