eggs are cheap.
$3.20 for 2.5 dozen here, and large eggs typically have 5-6g of protein per.

Take a look at BodyFortress...WalMart sells their stuff. 2lbs for $15...not bad for the money.
However, they mix in a lit of other goodies that you may not want. Look at what's inside and decide.
An alternative is Optimum Nutrition (ON).
Try EAS Whey Protein .
Dymatize 5 lbers or Scivation 10 lb.
Or cottage cheese. High in protein and fairly cheap. But yea, buying whey in bulk would probably be cheapest.
Eggs, milk, cottage cheese, tuna, and chicken breast are all (relatively) cheap.
ON is like $22 for 2lbs, All the Whey is like $18 for 2lbs, Pure Protein (Target) is like $17 for 2lbs, and Body Fortress (Walmart) is like $15 for 2lbs. There's also 3billion other brands online @ BB.com. Sam's Club and Costco sell 5 or 6lb bags of EAS for like $30.
Dymatize Elite without a doubt....
tuna cans are the CHEAPEST/contain most protein per 100g
