Raspberry Ketone
Has anybody ever heard of this stuff or used it and had success? Or taken it while on a diet/workout plan and feel like it helped?
I saw Dr. Oz talking about it on his show last night so just wondering if I should give it a shot to assist with my dieting and workout routine.

i'm taking sns rk-500 and sns tta-500 on my cut right now and it's going better than usual (even with some bad cheat days). i'd say it's helping and i'd use both again. i'm dosing as mr. cooper recommends: 1 gram per day of each split into an am and a pm dose.
-
I rather like the research behind it, personally. It's a cheap supplement, and if your diet is already strict and on point -- I would certainly suggest to run a bottle for yourself to decide. I will be adding a bottle of SNS RK-500 as well as TTA-500 for my summer cut.

Smart men :D. RKs are outstanding for overall health, but their benefits go beyond that. As kevin1st pointed out, he is continuing to progress on hit cut despite bad cheat days...research in rats shows that RKs reduce adipose weight gain as a result of a high fat diet, which may explain kevin1st's ability to cheat on his diet more often than usual. 1 cap RK-500 + 1 cap TTA-500 in the AM and PM is the way to go.
-
What about it's role as an androgen receptor antagonist?
-
Something fun to try out is REDuction PM (pills or powder) which also contains the RK.
Very light and simple supplement that aids sleep and weight loss in conjunction to a kickass diet/workout.

Dr.Oz is a retard.... Raspberry Ketones are decent but he had everyone in their grandma looking for these like a miracle drug today. Several weeks back he was advertising how great of a fat burner CLA was and of course people were buying it up like crazy too.

My grandma used to come to me with stuff she heard on that show, with me casually lecturing to avoid "doctor" and tv shows/commercials, etc; and then I snapped following some more absurd sh-t she consistently came with.
He's unbelievable, but "Dr" is all ya need.
edit: ^^^No, just no.

lolz bro i understand that he knows nothing about supplements and we all know someone who watches those tv shows and says dumb stuff. I agree that Dr. is all you need BUT i was merely stating that in this case, some individuals in the fitness community might acctually agree with him in that ketones are a good fat loss supp. they just wouldnt agree with the fact that everyone including couch potatoes are jumpin on the bandwagon yelling woooo getting ripped whilst eating a bag o chips

hmm ok and are SNS RK-500 as well as TTA-500 on bb.com? I dont see them
-
SNS isn't carried by bb.com.
And neither are several other quality companies, fwiw.
-
while he is usually retarded, this episode he actually talked about RK and L-Carnitine his message was, this doesn't replace exercising and diet, this is a good way to help you.

check your pm. cheap too.

I gave my bottle of rasberry ketones away. anything that weakens your androgen receptors is not a supplement i intend on taking.
It is a good fat loss supplement though but not for me.

Were you on "cycle" when you took it? If so, my sympathies.
-
is it really that big of a deal? i did not use during my last cycle but i do want to know if it would really make much difference.

It is not. The study in question was done in vitro as opposed to the rat studies done on lipolysis, which are certainly of signficantly greater merit.
Also, here is PA's take on RKs and anti-androgens:
"your hypothalamus has androgen receptors. it also has estrogen and progesterone receptors, and all of these will bind to circulating sex hormones. When they bind and activate they initiate the negative feedback signal. If you block them and prevent their activation then you will block the negative feedback and your sex hormone production will go up
i think you just forgot the fact that your HPTA works via receptors"
^He is basically saying that T production will go up. Now I'm not entirely sure if that applies to what we are doing, but consider this:
Green Tea Extract is estrogenic IN VIVO (rats and cancer patients). This should be of a much larger concern than RKs, yet this is overlooked simply because Green Tea Extract has SO MANY benefits in spite of its low oral bioavailability. The same applies to RKs, though in my opinion, the pros outweigh the possible cons to an even further degree. If you are concerned about possible androgen antagonism (which I feel you should not be, based on the single in vitro study), I would simply supplement LCLT to increase androgen receptor density. Either way, the difference is transient and really not worth noting.

I do not know what that means. Whats wrong with that?

RK on their own will do very little, but stacking RK,TTA and ALCAR then thats a whole different story

We have had good reviews, but it seems most people like adding it to their Thermo / other diet products as an addition, as opposed to using it solo. Ours is 10% off this month on BB.com

Raspberry Ketone - track.moreniche.com/hit.php?w=168081&s=171&a=7548
I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

If you want to lose weight, you should be patient and study all alternatives available to you. The best way to lose weight is to combine healthy diet, exercises, and a natural supplement to boost your sluggish metabolism rate. :)
