I shushed a GNC Employee and Cocky Customer today.
Well, here goes (serious) by the way.
I walk into GNC every month or two to buy my whey tubs. So I walk in today and an older man and his son are there talking to the employee. I pass by and I hear the guy say "Hey, I'm looking for some Cell-Tech. My son just started working out and is looking to put on some muscle fast!"
Overhearing this, I kind of chuckled and minded my own business and proceeded to check-out my whey. So, I walk over to the counter and the guy is still there talking to her. His son is standing there, and I can tell he's never lifted a weight in his life. Was about 5"10 130 pounds, really small guy. Everything was going smooth until the cashier said. "Oh yeah! Cell-tech is great, you can put on 7 pounds of muscle in 7 days!"
I looked hard at the cashier, and then the father....which completely blew me away said "Yeah! I was on it a while back and I got really big!"
By now, I was mad at the employee for telling false information and even more upset at the customer for buying it. So I decided to step in and stop this. I put down my tub of whey and said in a nice, firm tone "I really would not recommend cell-tech, it has tons of sugar per serving and will only get you fat." The father, now looking quite inquisitive asked "Really, can you prove that?" I was stunned that he actually said this.
I go grab a tub of cell-tech and shove it in his hands. "Read the label and amounts of servings per day." He didn't say anything, and his son and the employee just stared at me. After a short while, the employee snapped "WELL! Would you like to checkout sir?" "Sure" I said. Paid for my stuff, and left.
cliffs:
-Walk into GNC
-idiots buying cell-tech
-employee promotes false information
-I own them both
-I buy my stuff and leave
