We have Phil Heath who dominated the competition at the Ironman, and now goes to the Arnold Classic to go up against Dexter Jackson for the title(IMO).
And we also have the Big Bad Wolf, who is waiting for the Olympia and trying to bring up some bodyparts and nail his conditioning come showtime.
Plus, the 202 class at the Olympia should be cool to see and a nice change for the event.
Mass with class is starting to come back :D

Jay is still guaranteed another victory this year come hell or high water so it will still end the same way.
not to mention you've got young guys like Evan Centopani, Michael Locket, Brandon Curry, Eric Fankhouser... I think bodybuilding is in for an interesting couple of years.

You're more than likely right, but personally I think after last year he'll redeem himself. The man does have a tremendous physique even if many feel he's blocky.

I hear ya. I'm not taking a knock at him in particular. Just pro bodybuilding in general. Every year people try to make it something it's not. Which is unpredictable. Pro bodybuilding especially at the olympia has and ALWAYS will be well.........................................VERY PREDICTABLE.

Yeah it should be pretty sweet. Don't forget Peter Putnam. Him and Curry will probably turn pro next year.

Not really. Some Olympia winners have won and looked less than spectacular, but redeemed themselves the next year, loss, or retire. Ronnie didn't look great in 02, but came in at one of his best in 03, so most pros either redeem themselves or move down in placings.

Yeah but one thing that holds true is that the NUMBER one guy goes on and on at the olympia until he either retires or is injured.

I agree somewhat, but Ronnie went downhill after 06 and Dorian would of went down after 97, so the top challenger can win, but there needs to be a clear difference. 92 was close as well, so the top challenger does have a shot if he is on. We don't really have a champion who dominates like Haney, Ronnie, or Dorian anymore.
