You should have stepped on the gas and triggered an OJ style convoy with helicopters in pursuit. Then we could have watched you on the news.
You had to be a pussy and pull over.
I didn't even "pull over", per se. I just drove into the parking lot at work and seriously didn't even notice a cop was on my tail until I opened my car door (to exit the car) and saw the police car in my side view mirror. I of course then closed the door and remained in the vehicle.

I can't help myself, I'm on here at least three hours a day (sometimes more), learning, sharing information, hopefully helping the occasional person.... I'm hooked. When I'm not training, I'm either thinking about it or talking about it. My wife thinks I have an online girlfriend
noobs bump old threads. noobs act like they got something new to share to the forum population in general. noobs don't have anything new to share.
Posting threads saves OP about a couple months of trial and error of looking for the right answer in the gym, not 3 years.
Lolz this. One of the msot annoying is the newbies who say "I searched, but I couldn't find anything that matched up to my issue exactly."
The variables they found were the other threads had a chest workout that included flat BB bench, incline DB bench and cable crossovers. Where as they only have access to DBs and no cable stack. Can they still have a good chest workout?!?!?
New posters who bump threads that were started in 2005-2008 and who post nothing worth a fuking sh.it don't deserve to be retained anyway.
I neg them... every time.
I negged two just off of that no lower chest, grrrr thread. Both with slightly positive comments "Awesome." and "Fantastic". One repped or negged me back (it was a gray block) that said "Cheers". Made me :).

OMG! SPeak of the friggin' devil. I support this guy, I think I'll rep him.

Thanks to Dom (or whoever) locked the FB vs. Split thread in the Exercises section. I'd originally posted it here, but it didn't belong and so I re-posted it over in WP. Should have had you lock it back then.
I only monitor the other one now.

Same here. I haven't been as quick to recently because I know people are bumping threads intentionally and then deleting their posts to make it look like someone else bumped them. But if you aren't smart enough to quote the guy that bumped you can't complain about my neg anyway.

lol yeah and he actually makes a point to ask about anyone that "is still" following the thread.

I smiled at my posts in that thread. I humor myself.

I left him a very heartfelt rep comment. Seriously.

As n00b, bumping an old thread to ask for clarification on an issue is far less terrifying than making a new thread and getting tons of "use the search n00b!" comments.

Which is why, as a noob, I'd say "I searched and found blah, but it confused me with blah" and pre empt those kinds of comments.
But maybe that's just me.

And now we have ZoranM as the only modern poster in a thread from 2001, in which Zoran has quoted the OP.
Seriously...WTF

That is deserving of negs, as we have already concluded.
And FFS he quoted the OP that was from 11 years ago

One of you mods better see who bumped it/deleted their post and both neg/ban. This is just fuking stupid.

Summer Williams is a Houston Texans cheerleader. She's also a rocket scientist.
This is a true story.
"Well," Williams said, "I don't actually use the term 'rocket scientist.' "
That's what she is, though. Williams is a 25-year old aerospace engineer for the Jacobs Engineering Group, which is NASA's main scientific support contractor. Williams, a small-town Kansan, is an assistant project manager on the group that figures out how to keep the international space station habitable.
I'll show her where to find the frickin rocket to launch. right heah.

...so why are you closing them?
Exactly how much leeway do you guys have to close threads simply because you personally don't like what the posters are doing, even though it is allowed by board rules?

Mods tend to have the say so in the section as long as they aren't doing anythign crazy. If it becomes a problem (and the admins start getting complaints) then they'll talk to the mods.
I don't know for sure, merely going off of my experience as a mod on Bf.c. But Mods tend to get to run "their" section as they see fit. The admins are happy that they don't have to deal with it and there is order.
