Right now for my jeans, im at a 38 W and I was looking to get down to at least 34. What is the best/quickest way to do this? Or is this one of those things where there is no way to specifically lose weight there?

Um, you need to lose fat to lose fat in your waist. So, diet and exercise for you.
Gotta lose fat in general and rely on good old genetics to see what comes off first.
-The fat will come off the face first, after that its genetics. If your dad or a mom was fat in the waist, you might have inherited that but it can still be changed. Just takes time.
Yes. Eat at a calorie deficit, and exercise.

Some people lose face fat last, which is very unfortunate lol

Really? I read somewhere that face fat comes off first, and that was the case for me. I want that bicep fat to be gone!
To OP- I lost a bit of fat in the waist/groin area. Up 1cm else where as a result. Little bit extra motivation for you haha.
I think the 5lbs of fat loss=1 inch on the waist thing is pretty true for most peeps.

Yea, just ask Jonah Hill lol. But yea normally face fat goes first. I want to say your ****type has something to do with it but I'm not sure. I'm a meso/endo and my face fat goes pretty quick too. But I think the pure endomorphs have trouble losing their fat faces.

I didnt know that. Never even thought about it in those kind of terms. Thats really good information to know. Kind of gives you little mini goals between your larger ones.
Obviously cutting to lose bodyfat is the way to lower waist size.. stomach vacuums for abs have been known to reduce waist size a bit too for some people.. i recently started doing them
i do stomach vacs too, but really, just cut cals and you will lose fat .....try cardio.
Do these stomach vacuums really work? Like help lose fat in that region?
anyone?

stomach vaccums help but it wont do that much if you are fat.

You started off right, then killed it by saying it will come off the fact first. Not true. Everyone loses differently from different areas. Anecdotal evidence- Face fat for me was and is still one of the last places I am losing from. Sucks but gotta keeping pushing till Im low BF and am happy overall.
Yeah, I learned something in this thread too. I remembered hearing that it was face first, then had it happen to me. Logical fallacy, my bad.
Ive lost 21lbs in the last 6 months, been working out pretty serious for me, changed my diet, counted calories, upped the protein, cut out bread, rice, pasta and all unhealthy carbs, have a weekly cheat meal though. Ive lost 6 inches off my waist, my face has gone skinny, still got a gut and plan to lose at least another 10lbs. 28% bf to 19% bf, want to get to around 12.5% bf
discipline, diet and exercise, that will get you there, no shortcuts
