i tried these today during leg day, since i was alone in the gym i tried it lying on a decline becnh but coulddn't hook to the dumbbell...
what do those have who have done these think of them...?

I think there are much better ways of hitting your hams than that. I wouldnt waste your time with them.

I do these with ankle straps attached to a weightholder. They work great. Though I do glute ham raises as the main mass builder for my hammies.
I love this exercise. It works better than the machine leg curls IMO.
