What you do forms your identity, why you do it the way you do it defines your culture.
I remember when i wrote an essay on this in high school
Some ideas for you:
-Just look at the America! F Yeah mentality. It's all propaganda that drives the ordinary American to have a sense of invincibility, superiority over other nationalities, etc.
-American culture (Western culture in general) emphasizes the individual, and that has shown that people are less caring for others, are more career oriented, less family oriented, and overall they focus on different things. If you look at places like Japan or even Mexico, there is much more of a collectivist culture, where everyone works for each other and the family is very important. That creates more happiness, even though there is less wealth.
The way I cook, the languages I speak, the way I interact with people, the sports I play, the friends I have, the girls I prefer, the hair I have, the skin tone I have, the clothes I wear, the way I clean, the way I treat injuries, the way I talk, the way I greet somebody, the interests I have and most importantly the way people perceive me. Alot of things are shaped by my culture. Some of those things I posted I change irl to my personal preference. Others remain the same and will remain the same.
If you're curious I'm 25% P. Rican, 25% Dominican, 50% French.
