I have a few bags of this flavoured protein shake called Hurricane XS from 'myprotein.co.uk'. It's an all-in-one shake. Only problem is that it's out of date! Well, it's past the 'best before' date by a good few months.
Is this just completely useless now? Or will it still work? I tried it the other day, and it taste completely fine. But I'm just wondering if it'll still do its job?

Lol, mine expired at the back end of 11 too - that's what worried me! Not slightly out of date, quite a bit out of date! Won't kill us.
Expired protein powder and supplements in general will be good well past the expiration date as long as they have been properly stored away from heat/humidity.

Well it's almost 12 months past! They have been completely sealed and stored in my garage though.

You will be fine. If it was bad, you would taste it. I don't know where you live, but garages can get pretty warm and may not be the best place to store supplements.

got 3 2lb tubs of nitro core 24 for like 10 bucks each. exp date was 2/11...oh well lol.
the only thing i wouldnt trust past exp date is multis, my ON opti-men is out of date by a few months and I swear the tabs are different color lol
I used a weight gainer from 2010 the other day.
If it is still dry it should be ok, what makes it go bad is moisture.

C'mon BlueRev....I am teasing you. I didn't say it was expired. I said it was a couple weeks old as in brand new! Just came Tuesday but haven't actually used it. Sad I only got the one packet though....feelsbadman.

Well, from the posts, it seems as if the stuff is going to be ok. It's definitely dry, and it's been kept cool. The stuff tastes and smells normal too. The only thing I was worried about was if the supplements inside became ineffective! Looks like I'm all good to go with it!!
