Winter or spring I will grill you a steak and we can have some drinks and CF can drop by too.
But I will be feeding her beef jerky; because that's about how she likes her steak cooked; until there is no moisture left. :D

I dont snowboard but I cant get enough of skiing during the winter. I love it, I find it relaxing, I love being outdoors, and it can be a good workout. I would definitely miss it if I moved out of the country - I feel ya!

If you have an iPhone (it could work on other phones? Or maybe a computer im not sure - i only have my phone) there is an app called InstaCollage that is free and is super easy to use. Choose your template, choose your pics, and you're good to go :)
Has anyone ever stayed at the Ottawa Jail Hostel before? Or can anyone get a better rate than $129 a night for nice room with fridge and microwave? I need 3 nights.

Have you tried one of those "mystery hotel" deals? Basically you name the area and price range and don't get the hotel name until payment?
We just used that for a pei trip and got a really great rate at a nice hotel. Worth a shot?

I used Hotwire last year and the room I got at the Quality Inn sucked. I want to be in a 1km radius of Goodlife on Queen

Thanks, I actually have a room reserved there already.....was just looking over my options. I think I will just keep that room and treat myself, seems like I will enjoy the comfort there. Are you in the Ottawa area?
Woodstock Ontario here. Anyone near by?
New here. Been working out for a while but just got serious about it late last year. From BC
Hey Everyone;
Just checking in and seeing how everybody is doing. Been a few months since ive read this thread.
Question for you all as well. Ive started travelling more and more for work. How do you guys maintain your nutrition while travelling? I take my supplements and protein powders in my bag, but obviously I cant pack away pre planned meals. Its just way to easy to go to the diner and eat anything thats on the menu (company pays for all meals).

you can travel with pre-packed meals if you give some thought to it. if not then take a room with a microwave and fridge and hit a local grocery store for some food that you can make in your room. Rotisserie chicken with a pasta salad and tossed salad....who can say no to that..well I can depending on what ingredients it is made with...lol

Anyone in montreal running the marathon this weekend. Ill do the half. Let me know could say hello on the starting line. Good luck
How's it going Canada? Is the weather nice somewhere else? It sucks in Ottawa, just clouds and rain all weekend. I have a friend running a half marathon tomorrow; not me of course, I won't even run for the bus! But I will be ready to cheer her on.
Weathers great here, 20 degrees and been sunny for weeks :)

Awesome! I always start trying to incorporate running/light jogging in hopes of being able to go for a straight 30 minutes and then the efforts just fizzles away.
