Amazing how different you look (in a good way) especially your face!
Good of you to post up diet/routine to save ppl from asking as well. Repped.
Thanks mate! A lot of people have mentioned I have really lost it in the face, I just gotta lose it in the stomach now haha. As for my diet and routine I know that is always one of the first questions most people on here (including myself) are always interested in knowing so I figured I would provide that information right away.
Thanks for the rep.

You really started with a solid muscle base. The transformation is fantastic and I loved your diet plan; it can really be that simple.
-
Well done, man. I have actually been lurking here for a long time and saw your progress a while back and started doing the routine you had posted. It works well for me now since my knees are shot so I can't do much leg work but that's ok for now. It looks you had a good amount of muscle under that fat and you maintained, if not improved on your base. I am down to 183 from 230 but only started lifting a couple months ago so I don't look nearly as good as you, hopefully I can catch up after finishing this cut, bulking, and cutting back down.

Its weirod how losing weight made you go from looking like a 25 year old to a 20 year old
-
Awesome transformation op! Looking good (especially face,No hmo) Well done! Greatjob! -Motivated
-
Great transformation u made !
-
Great job! If you want even more results even faster, then throw in squats, deadlifts, and clean and presses.

Yeah, prior to losing the weight I had been lifting on and off for a while in high school and in college but hadn't really taken it too seriously until the beginning of 2012. As for the diet, I wish more people, especially those new to the bodybuilding world, would realize that there is no need for it to be complicated. So often people get wrapped up in macros, micros, when to eat this and that, etc that they end up hurting themselves more than helping. This is the number one point I always tell people first who ask for my help.

Hey man I guarantee you can catch up. As mentioned in my original post the routine I use is based heavily off Iron Addict's routine which I have found to be fantastic. It is simple, yet it gets the job done. Thanks for the reply! :)

Haha yeah I have gotten that comment a lot. I always seem to hold a lot of my fat in my face so when I started losing weight that was one of the first places people noticed.
Awesome transformation op! Looking good (especially face,No hmo) Well done! Greatjob! -Motivated
I am glad I could give you some motivation. As I mentioned in a previous post this is exactly the kind of thread that got me to start dropping the weight a year ago and I haven't looked back.
Great transformation u made !
Thanks! :)

Yep, on the first of this year I have started adding some legs in to my routine so we'll see how that goes. Thanks.
you look awesome!
Thank you! :)

Insane work man! I have a similar look/build as you so im giving your workouts a try only thing is I need to add leg workouts, any tips anyone?
-
awesome cut dude, now its time to start hat 5 day split and get swole as fuark!!
-
Dude, you have done an incredible job. Keep it up.
-
Looking great OP! Good luck finishing your cut.
-
Congrats on the transformation man, very inspiring. I just began my cut for almost 2 weeks now following the same rules as you. Did you eat basically anything as long as 1g/lb protein and calories were met or did you eat "clean?" I've been eating lean meats and staying clean but it's pretty bland even with salt/seasonings.

From 260 down to 190 and no loose skin whats your secret?

I hope the routine works for you. It really has worked miracles for me despite its simplicity.

That will be coming shortly, however I still have some weight to lose. I just hit 185 lbs this morning and am looking for 5-10 more lbs depending on how I look.
Dude, you have done an incredible job. Keep it up.
Thanks man! I plan on it.
Looking great OP! Good luck finishing your cut.
Thanks! I am at 185 lbs right now going for 180 by February 1st; I will easily make it. There is not a doubt in my mind.
I can already see a huge difference in the last few pounds dropped compared to the pictures I posted. I can't wait to see what they will be like at 175-180 lbs.

Yes I ate anything, but I did try to stick to complex carbs and lean protein when I could, but I still had plenty of fast food, frozen food, etc.
From 260 down to 190 and no loose skin whats your secret?
Lol no secret. All information is posted on the first page. However I do think I have a little loose skin around the stomach. We will see when I lose a few more pounds. However, even if I do it's nothing that can be fixed with a solid 2-3 month bulk hitting the abs hard.

Another quick question bro, did you stay at ~2000 +/- 200-300 calories until your current weight or did you reduce them more?

I stayed at ~2000 +/- 200-300 calories the whole way and that is still where I am staying and currently losing at a rate of 2-3lbs each week.

awsome. keep up the hard work there's much more to come! Great photo log as well

Thank you! I am driven like never before. I have literally stayed perfect with my diet and workout and sleep schedule all year so far. At the rate I am going I will easily achieve abs by the end of January :)
Speaking of photo log here is a quick difference of 5 lbs. Obviously there isn't much of a difference but let me tell'ya, every morning my stomach is looking smaller and smaller and it feels damn good.

Very good job! Congrats and cheers to an even better 2013!

Great job! Nice one, has motivated me a bit more.
Just a question; it seems like you had some decent muscle mass on you before you start losing the weight. Correct?
Very good job! Congrats and cheers to an even better 2013!
That is exactly the plan. Thanks man!

Yes that is correct. In high school I was pretty involved in football and powerlifting, so in that time I did manage to gain some decent muscle mass. Although I never realized how much muscle mass I actually gained until I lost the fat. I can't wait until I can start bulking. Thanks for checking out my thread.
I can't edit first post :/, so here is a new picture taken today. My stomach is slowly disappearing. :) I would think by 180 lbs it will be completely flat and at 175 lbs I will have a six pack. I hope haha
